Planning your Schedule
The selection of an appropriate schedule is an important consideration and it deserves the careful attention of students and their parents or guardians. We at the Guidance Office will work with students and their families to create a challenging, yet rewarding schedule that fits each individual student's goals.
Things to consider when planning a schedule:
1) previous courses taken
2) graduation requirements
3) career/post-secondary goals
Graduation Requirements:
4 credits English
4 credits Social Studies
4 credits Math
3 credits Science
2 credits Phys. Ed
2 credits Arts/Humanities (electives)
1 credit Health
0.5 credit Speech
0.25 credit Safety Ed
0.25 credit First Aid
All students need a total of 28 credits to graduate.
Changing your Schedule
ALL schedule changes (Fall and Spring semesters) must be completed before August 14, 2014. Students will receive a copy of their 2013-2014 course schedule through the Community Portal. Any student wishing to change his/her courses must fill out the Add/Drop Request Form and meet with the Counselor before the August deadline.
